Giving Pageantry a Try
Monday, April 16, 2012 It's been almost a year since I updated this site. I have been pretty busy in the past few months and I was not able to find time to blog, not until today. :P Just to give an update, I'm pretty done with my Junior year in college, and I have two terms left before I finally graduate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed so that I will no longer extend... Please Lord, allow me to finish school in December. Meanwhile, I'm currently part of a pageant, and it's called Binibining Pateros. Honestly, this is my very first time to join a pageant, and I have never envisioned myself as a beauty queen. It was my mom and her friend who pushed me and encouraged me to join, and according to my mom, I'm not gonna lose anything, and at least I will gain a new learning experience. Therefore, I gave it a try..... and now, I'm pretty much enjoying it. Last Saturday, the swimsuit competition was held at the Grand Villa Hotel & Resort, and the top 5 best in swimsuit was announced, but the best in swimsuit will be announced during the coronation night which will be on May 11, 2012 at Pateros Elementary School.  credits to my friend, Patty :) gracing the stage in our swimsuit Labels: Bb. 2am Habit
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 *currently playing: Marry Me- Train I am patiently waiting for my McDonalds meal to arrive at this very moment. I ordered nuggets, fries and coke to keep me up while I finish my web design homework.I have been eating non-stop in the past few months especially when I have to stay up late, and I actually liked it because I gained a few pounds. On the healthy side, I went to the gym last Sunday afternoon with my cousin, Jod and my neighbor, Louie, and we worked out together. I'm aiming for a better body figure before my summer vacation officially begins. Guess what? When I got home, I had coffee and some pieces of bread for my afternoon snack, and for dinner, I had Rosemary and Orange Chicken with rice and served with mango juice. What is matakaw? Oh I love food, and I'm not even on a diet. I work out, jog and I eat a lot! :) Updating my academic status: Deactivating my Facebook was actually helpful to improve my study habits. I aced my Economics quiz, and I did not even expect to get a perfect score! :) Another thing I have discovered is that, I have to exercise so that I will be productive. I have been loaded with school stuff, but I managed to finish everything because my lazy ass was missing in action (thank God!) After I do my web design, I shall sleep and jog at 6am. The rest of the day will be dedicated to shopping and bonding with my balikbayan aunt. I still need to work on with my observation report about drivers, but I think that would be a little easy since it's done in pairs. I Want a Break
Sunday, March 6, 2011 It is Sunday once again, and tomorrow comes my least favorite day of the week. :( Oh how I hate Mondays! My Monday schedule sucks because I got a class from 8am until 6pm with only an hour and a half of break. Just imagine how drained I am during my last class, and most of the time I am tempted to cut it or go to class 30 mins. late because I'm either sleepy or I am pigging out at Animo canteen. :| I also hate the feeling of neglecting to update my blog. My majors are eating me alive. :| I have been sick for the past two months, on and off, because of stress. Jeez, what more when I am working? Well, probably it would be a different scenario because I am being paid. :P Since majors are like my life for the whole term, I am starting to dislike what I used to enjoy such as writing. I hate being obliged and expected to submit works before its due. My passion for writing comes naturally, and I would write something that interests me, and not those topics that have nothing to do with my likes and interests. I have been uninspired too lately due to- I really don't know. I cannot explain this feeling, but I know that I'm so lazy all the time. Probably, a good sleep will help me regain my old jolly self. My uninspired self turns out to be very lazy, moody and no time to dress up like I used to. :( Oh Chictopia & Lookbook, I miss you so much, but I have nothing to post because I feel like a freakin' crap with dark circles around my eyes. My sincerest apologies to those who have experienced my intense mood swings, tantrums, whining and whatever drama of some sort. Everything was brought to you by the 3rd term stress. Anyway, I am planning to revamp my blog layout, but I still can't find time to do it. Most likely, after 3rd term (which is like 4 weeks to go) Meanwhile, school works are waiting for me. I have to read 109 pages (5 chapters) in one sitting, study for my economics quiz, list down questions for my project interview, and finish my web design homework. :| Hopefully, I could finish everything tonight while I sip on my coffee and munch on some food. I'm now looking forward to the much awaited season- summer! I can't wait for the term to be over & start hitting the beach with my friends. Before everything else though, I have to work on with my priorities. Therefore I am deactivating my Facebook account tonight and will get back on my dad's birthday. We're Growing Old
It was only like yesterday when us girls gathered for Reanne's 18th, and now it's her birthday again. We just had it in her home with friends and her family. I slept over and she drove me home the next day. Japanese foods were served along with the typical birthday foods. I ate the shabu-shabu and california maki, but the sushi and crabs were left untouched by yours truly. Her cute nephews were present and I was entertained by the youngest. Very talkative, and he is very much like my nephew, Dale. Happy birthday Reanne! After 3 Years
Ands came to Manila for a short visit, while everyone else was busy with school. Was it a wrong timing vacation? Perhaps it was not. All of us, with the exception of one, were present during our much awaited get together. :) Originally, it was supposed to be a beach/road trip, but due to transportation and financial problems, we have to make another plan. The final plan was to held the get together in my place. They chose to have it in my place because my house is free of everything- free of conservative adults. lol. :P The plan was made 2 days before the actual date- my friends are the best when it comes to last minute planning. :) We had dinner, beer pong, card games and sleepover, but not everyone slept over. Age is Nothing but a Number
High school friend, Cat, and college friend, Maiko turned a year older last January 30, but they had their celebrations a day earlier. Since their respective parties were on the same date, I was too lazy to attend both and I was planning to attend just one. Fortunately, my lazy ass was in the mood to party, despite being under pressure by school stuffs, and I ended up moving from one party to another. Cat had a dinner celebration with high school friends in their lovely home, & yes, Thursday group was present, but Ced was missing in action because of his dinner with family. We had a little surprise for our dear Cat, and as usual, the group had a last minute natataranta-kami moment. Our surprise was placed at the back of Reanne's car and we had a problem on how we'll move it inside the house. I met a bunch of new friends, whom mostly are Maiko's relatives and other friends. Originally, I was supposed to be with Icia, but I don't know why the hell she was not replying (of all the days pa), so I called up the lovely Memesh and we met up outside along with her boyfie, Mike. I arrived just in time- to witness Maiko drunk and dancing with her cute English boy. The guests were mostly drunk- a drunkard's party I suppose, but hey, I wasn't drunk. I just had a shot of Bacardi (i guess) and never had my next shot, because even at Cat's, I was already drinking. Tagaytay on a Friday
Friday, February 18, 2011 Sorry for the long hiatus. We're currently having our midterms and I'm just only sneaking to blog. Anyway, this post must have been up since last month, but since I lack time, it's only now that I do have a time to share this. Last Jan. 14, my high school friends and I gathered for a little reunion, as our Indonesian friend, Arief, visited Manila. The gang convoyed in going to Tagaytay. We had a dinner at the restaurant owned by Justin's uncle. Then we separated ways when the boys decided to hit up the casino, while us girls went around and looked for a place where we could chill. We ended up hanging out in Starbucks though. Baguio trip with my best friend and others. Been a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding & hosted the program. Spontaneous trip to Tagaytay with my cousin, which was a result of our food cravings. Dived in a 14ft deep pool from a level of a 2nd-story house. Went to Quiapo and consulted a fortune teller. Wall climbing. Directed a radio show and been a disc jockey. Voted in the 2010 National election and campaigned for my sister who ran as SK in the local election and yes, she won! :) Did you keep your New Year's resolution and will you make some this year? I can't remember. I made some for 2011, but I hope I could really keep it. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yup! Did anyone close to you die. Nope. What countries did you visit? None. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? Holidays with the Family
In the past two Christmas, it was only my sister and I who spent it at home. I hate the feeling of "loneliness" during Christmas, because we were used to the very noisy house with a lot of food on our dining table. As a result, I called up my aunt and I asked her if we could just celebrate it in their house, and there, we had our Noche Buena with my aunt and cousins.  with my aunt and sister during Christmas Eve. On the other hand, New Year's Eve was great. The whole clan had a gathering and celebration. Dinner was yummy, games were fun and picture moments were perfect! :)   with the girls and guys- incomplete though   with the game masters, Ate Minnette & Ate Jam karaoke with Marj  Hailey baby! Christmas Party w/ Blockmates
Saturday, January 22, 2011 First of all, I would like to apologize for being m-i-a for the past few weeks. My third term is quite jam packed, and I have no time to blog or do my usual online routines. The term is pretty heavy especially because of my majors, and as always, I have to set my priorities first. :) Anyway, I have quite a lot of things to talk about. First, i'll be gladly to share my Christmas experience with my blockmates. My blockmates are very spontaneous- even with this gathering. They called me up a few days before Dec. 20 to remind me that we're having a Christmas party at K's house in Quezon City. I replied to the messages, but afterwards there were no more updates. I thought it was cancelled so I decided to have other commitments on that day. At 6pm, I received a text message from K, saying that the party is still on and that people are coming.
