We had a lunch celebration with some schoolmates. The guys are 1 year ahead of our batch and us, girls, are comm. students. Though I am the only one taking up CommArts, while the rest of the girls are taking up OrgComm. I really had fun with these people and it was nice to update everyone with the latest issues. :P Afterward, the guys went back to school because they were part of a radio event while us, girls, watched Ghost House.  My favorite weekends will always be the ones I got to spend time in Serendra and High Street. Drinking coffee and eating desserts in the afternoon while having dinner in a posh restaurant at night are ways to celebrate my independence from everything.    salubong of my 19th birthday, with college friends I would consider the eve of my 19th birthday as one the best nights that I've ever had. Honestly, my 19th birthday was the best birthday ever because I got to celebrate it for 3 days with the people I love. My family may not be here to celebrate it with me, but I have friends to spend my birthday with me. I have realized that I am really a lucky and blessed person because I got real friends and these friends, we're meant to be forever. I love you so much guys.   These girls are my favorites! They are actually my nieces already since their dads are my cousins. It's just the best whenever I am with Ate Den, Celine and Rose Ann. Celine is living in Canada and from time to time she visits us here. Ate Den is moving to Canada in October near Celine's place and lastly, Rose Ann will soon follow her mom who is currently working in Canada.   during my 19th birthday Meet my best friends, Kathleen & Ma. Marcella- Kaye & Marce for short. We have been friends since 1st year high school (we met in 4th grade) and through the years our friendship has become stronger and tighter. We have so many things in common like love for fashion, arts, sports, chill time, dining out and any adventures! Our courses are even related with one another- Marce is taking up Advertising while Kaye is taking up Journalism and yours truly is taking up Communication Arts. One day, we will all be in the same industry and probably put up a business together! :> Before we get married, we will travel around the Philippines first, then visit the nearby Asian countries then tour around Europe and lastly, settle in America. Day 11- A Photo of Your Favorite Films
Friday, August 13, 2010 I really love watching films, may it be in English, Filipino or in another language. My genre of choice are comedy. light drama and adventure. I have plenty of favorite films but I have only included 8 here.  One More Chance (2007) I'm sure, every Filipino from my generation has watched this. Among all Filipino films, this is the one I considered the best because of the awesome lines delivered in this film. Sobrang patama at tinamaan naman ako. I could relate to both Basha & Popoy's feelings. I swear, even if I have watched this film several times already, I still cry over and over again.  A Walk to Remember (2002) This film was shown when I was in 5th grade and this also made me cry. Well, all Nicholas Sparks's books are a tearjerker and there is always someone who would die in the end plus it's always located in North Carolina. Whenever I watch this (over & over) and hear the songs, I could remember the very 1st dude who made me feel the butterflies in my stomach. :)) Oo na, ako na ang malandi. :)) The very first guy who broke my heart (hindi naman intense) and we've never been friends again. Although, after 8 years, he approached me and asked how I was when we've bumped into each other at this resto near my university & in my mind I was like, "tang ina mo, makalipas ang ilang taon bigla mo akong kukumustahin at kung kelan nag college na" =)) I'm not bitter noh, I was just not expecting that it will happen.  Just like Heaven (2005) Another tearjerker. I watched this movie with my mom and my balikbayan relatives from Canada. And I have realized that it was not only me whose tears are starting to roll down. Nice story.  White Chicks (2004) I've watched this in 7th grade with my classmates and it's so funny. I love their team-up especially when they have transformed into white chicks. :))   New York Minute & Mean Girls Do I need to elaborate why I like these films? :)) Hey, it's a girly-girl movie!  Harry Potter series From book 1-6, I have watched it and I always end up upset because I have read the book and many parts were not included. I have grown into these films. The very first one was on Nov. '99 and I watched it with my mommy and sisters and the last one was on July '09 with my ex.  Home Alone 3 (late 90s) This movie's hilarious. Day 09- A Photo of Your Family
 Meet my huge family.(Marj & I are not in picture) The two people on each end, wearing glasses, are my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and the kids are my nephews and nieces. My friends who met my parents told me that my parents are not the typical type. According to them, they are cool. Well, I enjoy bonding with my family because no single day would pass without us laughing. A warning though, never ever make them angry or else you will see the worst in them. Like them, I could be very nice and be devil as well. When provoked, you will see the worst in me and I can make your life a living hell. Therefore, we are not the right person to mess up with. Monday, August 9, 2010  It is no doubt that my favorite band is The Beatles. My mom is a big fan of them and she always listens to them and other classic artists especially every Sunday and eventually I was influenced by my mom. There is something in their music that makes me want to listen all the time. Aside from The Beatles, I am also into The Spice Girls, especially in my younger years wherein I could hear them everywhere.
