Summing Up 2010
Saturday, January 29, 2011 I know that I should have done this last month, but hella I'm late- though this could be allowed since the Chinese New Year is coming up! :P What were the things you did that you've never done before? Baguio trip with my best friend and others. Been a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding & hosted the program. Spontaneous trip to Tagaytay with my cousin, which was a result of our food cravings. Dived in a 14ft deep pool from a level of a 2nd-story house. Went to Quiapo and consulted a fortune teller. Wall climbing. Directed a radio show and been a disc jockey. Voted in the 2010 National election and campaigned for my sister who ran as SK in the local election and yes, she won! :) Did you keep your New Year's resolution and will you make some this year? I can't remember. I made some for 2011, but I hope I could really keep it. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yup! Did anyone close to you die. Nope. What countries did you visit? None. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? A guy who is consistent in words & actions- oh ang lalim! :)) Probably, a boyfriend will do. lol. :P What date(s) from 2010 will remain etched in your memory and why? There are a lot of unforgettable memories! What was your biggest achievement of the year? Overcoming someone I thought I couldn't. What was the best thing you bought? Probably, the ones you can see inside my closet! :) Did you suffer any illness or injury? I had a bad case of allergy which was caused by stress. Whose behavior merited celebration? Me! I've lessened my bitchiness, and I have grown from the old me. Whose behavior made you appalled or depressed? Some close friends. Marj. Where did most of your money go? Food, clothes, shoes- the usuals. What did you really get excited about? Waiting for the term to end. What songs will remind you of 2010? Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? Yes. What was the best book you read? The Notebook. What did you want and get? A getaway from all the stress. What did you do on your birthday and what did you get? dinner & birthday salubong with college friends at Marciano's, Greenbelt & Banchetto, Ortigas. Dinner w/ high school barkada & sister at The Recipe, Greenbelt during my actual 19th birthday, then went clubbing at Bed Space, Greenbelt. What one thing would have made your year immeasurable? Not sure. How would you describe your fashion concept this year? I've been more fashion conscious. Yes, I do have a chictopia & lookbook account, which aren't updated. My taste varies- it depends in the call of the event. Who/what kept you sane? Friend. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? None, i guess. What political issue stirred you the most? 2010 election. Who was the best new person(s) you've met? A lot! but if I'll consider the most recent, it will be the person that I'm talking to every night. What was the nicest thing someone told you about yourself? "You're not only a pretty face, but you also have the heart & right attitude." aww! such a sweet word from a friend. The most touching experience you've had this year? seeing that there are many opportunities lying around that I ignored earlier. Quote a song that sums up your year. "No regrets, just love." Was 2010 a good year for you? Definitely! What was your least favorite moment of the year? The fights. What was your favorite moment of the year? Summer 2010. Term breaks. Where were you when 2010 began? At home. Where will you be when 2010 ends? At my aunt's. Did you lose anybody close to you in 2010? Yeah. Did you miss anybody in the past year? Yeah, I miss the whole fambam. What was your favorite record(s) in 2010? Bruno Mars', Katy Perry's, and Rihanna's How many concerts did you see in 2010? None. Did you drink alcohol in 2010? Yeah. Did you do a lot of drugs in 2010? Nope. Did you do anything you were ashamed of this year? Yes. How much money did you spend in 2010? A lot! What was your proudest moment of 2010? Seeing that my hard work has paid off. What was your embarrassing moment of 2010? Wa-poise moments. If you could go back in time to any moment of 2010 and change something, what would it be? Nothing. How are you different now that the year is about to end? i'm more matured, open minded & responsible. What are your wishes for the next year? Pass all my terms. Holidays with the Family
In the past two Christmas, it was only my sister and I who spent it at home. I hate the feeling of "loneliness" during Christmas, because we were used to the very noisy house with a lot of food on our dining table. As a result, I called up my aunt and I asked her if we could just celebrate it in their house, and there, we had our Noche Buena with my aunt and cousins.  with my aunt and sister during Christmas Eve. On the other hand, New Year's Eve was great. The whole clan had a gathering and celebration. Dinner was yummy, games were fun and picture moments were perfect! :)   with the girls and guys- incomplete though   with the game masters, Ate Minnette & Ate Jam karaoke with Marj  Hailey baby! Unfortunately, we were not complete because Reanne was m-i-a due to stomach ache. Christmas Party w/ Blockmates
Saturday, January 22, 2011 First of all, I would like to apologize for being m-i-a for the past few weeks. My third term is quite jam packed, and I have no time to blog or do my usual online routines. The term is pretty heavy especially because of my majors, and as always, I have to set my priorities first. :) Anyway, I have quite a lot of things to talk about. First, i'll be gladly to share my Christmas experience with my blockmates. My blockmates are very spontaneous- even with this gathering. They called me up a few days before Dec. 20 to remind me that we're having a Christmas party at K's house in Quezon City. I replied to the messages, but afterwards there were no more updates. I thought it was cancelled so I decided to have other commitments on that day. At 6pm, I received a text message from K, saying that the party is still on and that people are coming. Okay, that was 6pm, and what time do people expect me to come if I'm coming from another party? well, i left the party for my blockmates and I arrived at 10pm with the drinks as part of my share.:)  L-R: K, Julian, Ronna, me, Russel, Guia, Rielle & Dea   cheers!  honestly, I could only sing w/ my blockmates! :)) with others, i don't!  after sleepover with Dea. Clubbin' during finals' week
My Australian cousins were too excited to enter the club here in Manila bec. it's their first time; since clubs in Australia are strictly for 18 years and above. So us cousins gathered and went to Eastwood last Dec. 10. I was in the middle of my cramming session, when I have to stop and I joined them. I felt so liberated from stress at that time & yeah, I had a good time. When everyone else were getting tipsy, they left me on the freakin' dance floor & i got to dance with random strangers. Yeah, it was good- to dance w/ good looking men. :">  with Mina & Felisa & both are in their Junior year in high school   Lace black dress from Pill at The Ramp One of my cousins took this video.
